Using photography as an art form, I explore and express my love of our natural world through the eye of the lens, freeing myself in exotic countries and the British countryside.

My inspiration stems from the first wildlife programmes in the 70's of Africa.

So vivid and lasting were these images to me, that at the first opportunity I ventured to Kenya with my two sons, armed with my Minolta SLR camera and a 500mm lens.  I have not looked back!

I believe excellent photographic equipment, bountiful patience to seize the moment, are the finest components for this often challenging, yet exciting art form.

I have begun to focus on the beauty of macro photography.   With these pictures i hope to show you the incredible intricacies of nature, to acquire a deeper appreciation and understanding of our natural world...
